Group X Certification Course

The course provides the necessary tools required to teach multi-level group classes. It includes training for floor aerobics, step aerobics and body conditioning. It lays emphasis on teaching skill along with theoretical knowledge.

Basics of Aerobics/ Group fitness: Music understanding, cueing, methods of choreography, class format, aerobic program design, step training and body conditioning

Duration: 120 hours

Day & Time: weekend batch

Validity: 2 years

Eligibility: 18 years and above, 12th pass

Career Opportunities: Aerobics/ Group X instructors can work at club/ corporate houses, fitness studios, gyms, aerobics freelancing at homes and small group training at parks. A growing number of group exercise instructors are pursuing the "hybrid" option, which appears to be the direction the industry is headed. The "hybrid" instructor works full-time, but in several different capacities. She/ he may work as a aerobics/group exercise instructor as well as a personal trainer or possibly in another position such as front desk staff, wellness coach, or even in membership sales.
This choice allows the aerobics/group X instructor to pursue what you enjoy foremost, while diversifying your activities and enjoying the benefits of a full-time job. As education and creativity evolve and thrive, new ideas pop up frequently. Currently there are many popular areas to consider, such as step aerobics combined with conditioning, aerobics, yoga, group strength training, circuit training and boot camp formats just to name a few.
